Sewa Bharti promotes value-based education across urban slums, tribal regions and rural India. Inspired by the Gurukul tradition, it focuses on holistic development, character building, and inclusive learning. The initiative aims to empower underserved communities through education-driven social upliftment and sustainable growth rooted in cultural values and community participation efforts.
The Self-Reliance sector of Sewa Bharati empowers individuals, families, and communities through employment-oriented training and livelihood initiatives. It creates opportunities for skill development and self-employment, enabling economically weaker sections to achieve financial independence and contribute to India’s growth as a strong, inclusive, and self-reliant nation, driving sustainable development forward continually.
The guiding principle of social service is 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niramayaah'. Volunteers provide healthcare support to people in their communities. Under Nar Sewa, inspired by Narayan Sewa, medical services, awareness programs, mobile clinics, medical centres, and hospitals are operated through registered institutions, as well as health camps and outreach tours.
Despite external diversity, underlying unity forms the foundation of the Hindu way of life. Since its inception, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has promoted social harmony among volunteers without discrimination of caste, region, or status. This principle guides Sewa Bharati and allied organizations, fostering service-driven efforts that build unity across all age groups in society.
