Rashtriya Sewa Bharati regularly encourages and supports voluntary organizations that remain ever committed to serving society. Rashtriya Sewa Bharati functions as an umbrella organization. Across all Prants, it works towards binding society in the spirit of harmony and unity through initiatives in education, health, self-reliance, and social service.
During times of severe national calamities, lakhs of karyakartas associated with Rashtriya Sewa Bharati work day and night, as a result of which crores of affected people are able to receive timely assistance and service.
Rashtriya Sewa Bharati is an initiative inspired by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Its primary objective is to actively contribute towards the creation of a strong, harmonious, and inclusive society by educating, empowering, and enabling self-reliance among the underprivileged, deprived, and oppressed sections of society through the collective efforts of registered voluntary organizations and dedicated karyakartas with a national outlook.
Rashtriya Sewa Bharati was registered on 8 December 2003. Since its inception, its objective has been to contribute towards building a strong and harmonious society through initiatives in Shiksha (Education), Swasthya (Health), Sewa (Social Service), and Swavalamban (Self-Reliance). Today, thousands of organizations across the country are associated with Rashtriya Sewa Bharati and are collectively working in the spirit of service.
